Hi, I am Shiki. I am a patient, kind, certified Japanese teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. I love teaching Japanese in a fun and interesting way. The lesson can be as serious or as fun as you want!
Don’t worry if you struggle, I am here to help and assist you in improving your Japanese skills one step at a time.
I have taught Japanese in Japan and overseas to all Japanese levels at several language schools, a university, a software company, and as a private tutor.
I offer lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
In addition to regular lessons, JLPT preparation, business Japanese, free conversation, and lessons based on news topics are available.

I primarily conduct online lessons. Online lessons are available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM( Japanese standard time)
Online lessons can also be conducted in group sessions, so feel free to make a group with your friends or family and reach out to me for more details on pricing.
Online lessons are available not only for those living in Japan but also for many overseas individuals. If you have any questions regarding payment or other details, please feel free to contact me.
For those who prefer in-person lessons, I am available at a cafe in Tenjin, Fukuoka, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Café lessons between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM are also available with an additional fee for after-hours scheduling. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me for more details.
I kindly request that the student cover the cost of all beverages at the cafe.
For travelers visiting Fukuoka or those staying temporarily, I can arrange intensive short-term courses lasting from 1 or 2 months. Pair lessons can also be arranged. If you have any requests, please feel free to inquire.

Is it difficult to learn Japanese in Fukuoka?
No, it isn't.
But most Japanese language schools offer classes in Japanese only.
So complete beginners need to find a school that teaches Japanese in English or a private teacher who speaks English or learner's native language.
How much time does it take to learn Japanese in Fukuoka?
