I'm a student, coming from a bilingual area of Slovenia, where I grew up speaking (and formally learning) both Slovene and Italian (+ English of course). I went on to win Italian language competitions in high school, have recently traveled all around the country, and keep in tight contact with the language through friends and media, even when abroad. How I speak naturally, is with a slight northern Italian accent, but know a tad of other accents and understand a lot of dialects.
I won't teach you the grammar cause you can learn that more easily elsewhere.
I can be a conversation partner, help you work with your pronunciation, enrich your vocabulary, make sense of weird phrases, and correct grammatical mistakes in spoken language.
Being fluent in 4 languages, I consider myself multi-lingual, but not a polyglot yet, as I'm trying to learn additional languages.
Bonus: I'm a non-formal education expert (with 5+ years of experience) and a Cognitive Science student, so I literally study about how people learn ;)
It really depends on your first language (or other languages you speak). I'd say it's the easiest of the 4 languages I speak fluently.
Relatively. There's not a lot of opportunities to have conversations in Italian ... except with me. :)
