Ciao! I'm Davide, an Italian teacher.
My method is to stimulate creativity and curiosity. I teach beginners and intermediate students and I have conversations with intermediate and advanced ones.
With beginners I start with pronunciation and verbs to make the students independent in making their own sentences. I like to introduce students to Italian culture, colloquial phrases, gestures! I can follow the guidelines of your textbook if you have one. However, I provide my own materials, including pdf textbooks.
My background: I lived in a town near Bologna in Northern Italy. After graduating in Social Work (UniBo) I moved to the Czech Republic where I started teaching Italian while studying for a Masters in Research and Development in Educational Studies (UPOL).

Is Italian easy to learn?
Every language has its advantages and disadvantages. Reading Italian with the correct pronunciation is not difficult, it reads as it is written. Nor are the idioms and grammar anything out of the ordinary. Anything is possible, it depends on personal motivation and a supportive environment, which in this case includes the tutor. It's important to find a tutor with whom the student feels comfortable.
