B2/C1 conversational skills enhancement

Private Italian Tutor in Munich and Online

Are you looking for someone that can help you enhance your Italian writing or speaking skills? Or someone with whom you may have a conversation about particular topics in order to improve some more specific vocabulary?
Let me introduce myself: I'm Alessandro, an Italian Aerospace Engineering student at Politecnico di Milano, currently on an Erasmus Scholarship at TUM.
I am a mother tongue Italian speaker, and I also have an English C2 and a German B1 certification. Back in Italy I used to be an English tutor and I also gave repetitions on university subjects, such as Analysis, Physics, Mechanics, etc, so I would say I definitely have some teaching experience.

I'm open to medium-long-term teaching relationships. If you already know some Italian, e.g. you are around a B1, and you're looking to take your language skills to the next level, feel free to write me a message and we'll see if we can start to build something together.

If you already are at a higher level, e.g. you have a B2 or a C1, we can work on enhancing your conversational or writing skills, or we can have some more specific lessons on particular topics that you want to deepen. In this case, I'm also open to shorter-term relationships.

I'm at the end of my bachelor's, so I am well versed in several typical engineering subjects (analysis, physics, informatics and CS, turbomachinery, electrical engineering, etc), but my interests tend to vary so we may also range from economic to political subjects.
Furthermore, I have a High School 100/100 cum Laude classical degree, so I'm also available if you want to dive deeper into some topics like Italian, Greek, or Latin literature, or even Philosophy.

Feel free to write me a message, so that we can start talking about your particular needs and wants, and start building something upon what you already know.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the easiest way to learn Italian in Munich?

I may be old school, but I think that the best way to learn a language is by studying its grammar on a book and then by speaking, speaking, and speaking it some more. I think that's especially true for Italian, which definitely has a lot of peculiarities that need to be known if you want to speak it correctly at a higher level.
For my lessons at a B1 level or slightly higher, I would advise following a grammar book and then have some conversations in italian in order to better keep in mind the grammar and vocabulary. For higher levels, like B2 or C1, some grammar may still be necessary, but most of the work would be focused on enhancing conversational or writing skills.

Is Italian easy to learn?

I will be blunt, I don't think Italian is an easy language to learn. It may be easy to take a grasp on the language, but Italian grammar is not easy at all - even for native speakers - so a lot of effort needs to be put into studying it to be able to speak a truly correct italian.
