Hi! I'm Alessandro Pedroni.
I'm a native Italian speaker and I speak English fluently (C1 Certified)

The most difficult part of learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker but - every student has realized that - you can't really learn just by speaking with friends.

You need methodology and patience and a skilled person to help you reach your goals. I can be that person if you let me!

I studied education in high school and I'm teaching Italian for many years now (I taught at the Secretariat for Foreign Affairs of the Milan Curia then privately and from April 2021 I'm also on Tutoroo)

I can adapt my teaching to your needs and I'm very flexible on time schedules both online and in-person classes.

Is Italian easy to learn?

It's not the easiest language to learn but we can work together and bring you there!

Alessandro is an excellent and very friendly teacher. Alessandro is flexible when it comes to scheduling the lessons (we were not able to do fixed days so we needed a teacher that could give us the flexibility we needed). Alessandro also communicates very well and is quick to respond when you contact him with any questions. That is everything you need from a private teacher. He is flexible in his approach to your learning style. Whatever style you prefer, he can accommodate for that learning method. We started out with learning through a course with books together with Alessandro. It was the Italian course Nuovo Contatto 1. The study books we bought online. When we progressed, we started having conversations with Alessandro and skipped the lessons in the book. We also had lessons where we would practice real situations like having diner in a restaurant or shopping in a store. Alessandro always creates a relaxing atmosphere and we always had a few laughs during our lessons. We like his humor :-) We highly recommend Alessandro !!

Alessandro is an amazing tutor! He is patient, professional, and very engaging. Every lesson was so informative and a lot of fun. He was flexible with me about my unique needs for learning Italian, and adapted sessions to either do more traditional workbook studies, or to engage in more conversational activities. Both were very helpful and gave me a foundation to continue learning Italian independently, which I especially appreciated as I was moving away to a smaller town in Italy, where they didn’t speak much English, and so I wanted to get a basis before that time. But it’s also wonderful to know that Alessandro offers virtual lessons too, so even after my move, I can still reach out to him if I ever need additional support. I’m sure I will be doing so as I progress to the next stage of my learning the language, as I can’t imagine learning Italian with anyone else! Thank you Alessandro for all of your support!
