Hi, Good people!
I'm Veni, I'm your cheerful Indonesian teacher!
My experience in teaching is almost a year.
My purpose in teaching is to make our class more fun, easier to understand, and appreciative of your mistakes. And the goal is for you to be able to speak and think in Indonesian.
Adjusting the way I'm teaching based on what you need is what I like. I don't want to waste your time and money; I value your desire to be fluent in Indonesian. Let's get through it!!
I speak: Indonesian, Javanese, English, and a little bit German.
The easiest ways to learn Indonesian are to visit traditional markets (pasar) and practice bargaining, order food in warung (small food stalls) instead of restaurants, take public transport like TransJakarta and MRT and chat with locals, and also take Indonesian private tutors to correct your mistakes and give you some wonderful ideas to immerse your Indonesian skills.
If you live in Indonesia and actively speak with native speakers, fluency can be achieved in 6–12 months with consistent practice.
But here is the Fluency Timeline Based on Study Time per Day to Reach B2-C1 Fluency:
1 hour/day => 3 years
2 hours/day => 1.5 years
4 hours/day => 9-10 months
8 hours/day (intensive study) => 5-6 months
So, how many hours do you want to spend on this language?
