My name is Chibuikem , a dedicated native Igbo speaker with over 3 years of professional experience teaching to diverse learners remotely. I hold a B.A in Arts and Education, equipping me with both subject mastery and effective teaching methodologies. As an indigene of Igbo land, I bring authentic cultural context and native fluency to every lesson, ensuring students learn not just the language but also the spirit behind it.
What sets me apart is my personalized teaching approach, engaging students through songs, stories, everyday conversation, and cultural proverbs. I use a combination of visual aids, interactive tools, and modern platforms to make learning fun, memorable, and effective. My lessons are tailored to suit beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners.
I have taught Igbo to children and adults, helping them reconnect with their roots, improve communication skills, and gain cultural confidence. I also mentor students preparing for academic or cultural immersion in globally.
The easiest way is through interactive lessons with a native speaker, daily practice, and immersion in Igbo music, movies, and stories. Repetition and context-based learning help build fluency quickly.
This depends on your commitment. With 2–3 lessons a week, most beginners reach basic conversational ability in 3–6 months. I provide tools and support to speed up your progress while keeping it enjoyable.
