Private Icelandic Tutor in Reykjavik and Online
I am an Icelander raised in the United States - both Icelandic and English are my mother tongue. This gives me an advantage in understanding the student in his/her process of learning the language.
I have a B.A. in psychology and have worked quite a bit with children and adolescents.
I have won one award for my writing and received a perfect score on the Writing SAT II (English).
I like to allow my students to choose the approach to learning the language that they believe is best for them.

How easy is it to learn Icelandic in Reykjavik?
There are many classes available to learn Icelandic but they are often very grammar focused and the content is not immediately useful in daily life. It is difficult to learn Icelandic in Reykjavik in that Icelanders will very often switch to English when they hear that a person is not fluent in Icelandic - which doesn't allow the student to practice.
What is the easiest way to learn Icelandic in Reykjavik?
