Hey, I am Lawrence, a first generation Chinese living here in the Philippines. Also a recent graduate from De La Salle University. I would be happy to help you reach your goals in learning Mandarin and FookienI have also been working as an interpreter (Mandarin to English) in different organizations! I would say that my style of teaching is really engaging my students with conversations in the topics that they're interested in, so be prepare for the topics and themes you would want to learn more about!

My first lesson with Lawrence could not have been better. I am an unusual student because I have been largely self-taught. My grasp of vocabulary and grammar does not correspond well to that of a student who has followed a course. Lawrence quickly ascertained my level and needs and taught me new material at pace. He is encouraging, perceptive, patient and good-humoured.
