Learn Hindi from the Heart of Delhi

Hi, my name is Akankshya. I am a graduate student currently living in Taiwan and learning Mandarin Chinese. I am a native Hindi speaker, fluent in English, and my mother tongue is Odia.

My academic background is in Political Science, and I am learning Chinese as part of my PhD journey and cultural experience in Taiwan. I am passionate about languages, cultural exchange, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I am interested in teaching Hindi to foreigners and would love to work with learners of any age or level. I enjoy creating a friendly and comfortable learning environment while helping students improve their communication skills and learn more about Indian culture.

I have teaching experience in both Hindi and English with learners from different age groups, ranging from 2.5 years old to 60 years old. Teaching has truly been an enriching experience for me because I also learn a lot from my students.

I have also worked as a volunteer teacher for underprivileged children in India, where I taught Hindi and Science for several years. Currently, I am teaching Hindi to two students here in Taipei, which has also helped me connect with them through basic Chinese communication.

Depending on the age and learning style of the student, I design my classes in a way that helps them absorb information naturally and speak more comfortably and confidently. Since I am also a language student myself, I understand the challenges of immersing yourself in a completely different language and culture. Because of this experience, I always try to make my classes more effective, patient, and encouraging for my students while creating a comfortable learning environment.
