Hello! Γεια σας! I am Kerasia and I am a certified Greek teacher.
Linguistics and education is my passion.

For more than 15 years now, I have been a professional translator and editor working in the language combination Greek-English and vice versa, and at the same time, I teach Greek as a second language to non-native speakers who wish to learn Greek for pleasure or/academic or professional purposes.
An excellent user of spoken and written Greek myself, with a very rich, multi-cultural, and poly-lingual educational background, I possess excellent communication and interactive skills combined with efficient methods of teaching.

Moreover, I specialize in audiovisual education and I provide a variety of audiovisual Greek spoken material during my lessons (films, videos, e-books, etc.) so my students can practice the language in many fun, cultural, artistic, and interactive ways. We want to learn but we want to enjoy it too!
My linguistic studies in Surrey, UK, and my working experience in many European countries made me very flexible and keen on different cultures, environments, and people.

I tend to tailor each class to the demands, desires, and goals of each student. Forget about typical, sterile relationships of teacher-student: I love to share my knowledge, and it's never a one-sided situation. My motto is: You always take when you give!
