I hold a BA (hons) in Humanities and Social Science specializing in Classics from the University of Patras in Greece. Having worked for five years within Education in the private sector in Greece, constructing and delivering lessons for primary and secondary school as well as in England as a tutor for primary-secondary school students.
Demonstrably, when I was teaching ''Philology and Linguistics'' at Saint Sophia Orthodox Church in Patras, I prepared lesson plans based on the National Curriculum and maintained a focus on the individual and specific learning needs of the students and the learning styles most suited to their needs, ensuring that every student in the class was able to make significant progress. Moreover, my main aim is for each lesson to be special for my students by using the best methods to make the learning process easier as well as enjoyable.
I have always been passionate about literature, and I bring that energy into the classroom, encouraging my students to see each step of the literary process as a dynamic way to develop their ideas and to express their individual strengths. I put great emphasis on collaborating with colleagues, leadership teams and communicating with parents to ensure that the needs of every student are met.
