Being a hardworking person with a strong sense of responsibility, I am well prepared to dedicate myself to the highest standards of learning and exceed your expectations. I have been teaching the Greek language, history, and culture since 2016, both in person and online and both my undergraduate studies in Greek language and literature and my postgraduate studies in Applied Linguistics offered me a deep understanding of ancient/modern Greek and Roman civilizations, including their languages, literature, history, and cultural significance and the required knowledge to provide a high-standard language lesson and guide my students to achieve their full potential. Also, I am well-versed in innovative teaching methodologies and have successfully engaged students in the study of the modern, classics and Byzantine-koine Greek fostering a genuine appreciation for the subject.
My previous working experience (as a researcher/ language teacher/ SEN pupil support assistant) taught me to adapt easily to and work effectively within a culturally diverse environment, as well as to be more confident when engaging with different perspectives, teams, and activities. Additionally, by teaching students from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles, I have been given the opportunity to understand students' needs more deeply and therefore enhance my communication, creativity, and motivational skills to stimulate students’ interest and appreciation for the Greek language and culture.
