Private Greek Tutor in Athens and Online

I am a qualified and licensed language teacher located in Athens, Greece.
I have studied English Studies and German Studies at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. Furthermore, I have a Master's Degree in German Philology: Theory and Applications, with a specialization in "Interfaces between Linguistics and Didactics".
I am also TESOL certified, and I have an extra certification to teach Greek as a foreign language from Panteion University of Athens.
In addition, I am a licensed tourist guide. Occasionally, I work as a translator and a copywriter.
My mother tongue is Greek and I also speak English and German fluently.

My language teaching is based on the EU-Standards (the CEFR guidelines for the levels), so I can prepare the learner for any language certification exams.
In addition, I guide advanced students (level C1/2 of CEFR) for the Certificate of Knowledge Adequacy for Naturalisation (PEGP) exams for the obtainment of a Greek citizenship.

I have been working as a private teacher of English, German and Greek as foreign languages since 2010.
I teach to students of all ages and levels. I focus on offering communicative lessons, tailored to the learner's goals, needs and preferences.

I have taught tutorial courses to undergraduate students of German Studies for two semesters at the University of Athens, as part of three partial scholarships that I won as a graduate student. The courses I taught were "Introduction to Language Didactics I", "Introduction to Language Didactics II" and "Introduction to Academic Writing" (2021-22).
I have done two 2-month internships in the Foreign Language School of the University of Athens (2023) and in the Goethe Institute of Athens (2019).
In addition, I have been working as exam invigilator at the Goethe Institute of Athens, at the British Council of Athens and at the National Foreign Language Examinations of Greece (KPG) from 2020 to 2025.
