Hi,
I'm Philipp.
I'm a German teacher from Warsaw. Besides, I study painting at the Academy of Fine Arts.
I grew up in Konstanz which is a town in southern Germany, but my parents are originally from Poland.
I've gathered a teaching experience of over a year and a half so far. During this time, I taught in both Polish and English. I work with polish and international students ranging from beginners to more experienced German learners.
I really enjoy teaching German and I’m also learning foreign languages myself. I speak English fluently, and I'm currently learning Russian and French. In the past, I even tried to learn Japanese.
As a native speaker, I offer lessons that focus mainly on spoken language, but I'm also happy to help with schoolwork, grammar questions or any preparations for language exams.
Plus, I’ll share interesting information about German culture and assist students who plan to live in Germany, whether short-term or long-term.

Is German easy to learn?
In my opinion it is absolutely possible to learn German within a reasonable timeframe.
Learning with a Native Speaker speeds up the process and makes it much easier though. Many arising questions can't be solved alone when working with a textbook or by asking a language teacher who didn't grow up in the given country.
How much time does it take to learn German in Warsaw?
That's a tough question because many factors influence the learning curve of a student.
Firstly the support by the tutor and secondly the commitment and motivation of the language learner. Of course there are also many other points which need to be considered like the amount of time the student is willing to invest and so on...
Under favorable conditions most students are able to make considerable progress within a few months.
