I am an international student at the University of Manchester who grew up in China and in Germany, so I speak both Mandarin and German fluently. I’m a bubbly, talkative individual who loves dance, music, travelling, art and more! (And obviously languages…) I love meeting new people and nothing makes me happier than seeing my students grow and succeed; I started tutoring when I was in high school, so I have a lot of patience (who wouldn’t after torturing 13-year-olds) and know how to make studying fun! During my gap year, I was a private tutor for the IELTS exam and taught people across all age groups. I will make sure to teach at your pace and personalise the teaching plan just for you, so no pressure at all! I focus on communication and conversation, so I would love to learn more about you as a person as well :) I would also describe myself as extremely professional and understanding.

It takes time, and the characters as well as tones can be hard to learn, but the fun part of learning Chinese culture makes learning the language so much easier!
