I am a dedicated and motivated educator with a strong academic background in primary education and hands-on teaching experience. I am currently a student at Ilia State University, enrolled in the Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s Program in Primary Teacher Education, with optional modules in Social Sciences and Special Education. This program has provided me with a solid theoretical foundation as well as practical pedagogical skills, enabling me to work effectively with diverse learners.
My academic training focuses on child development, modern teaching methodologies, inclusive education, and learner-centered instruction. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn, how to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs, and how to create supportive and engaging learning environments. My specialization also allows me to work confidently with students who have different learning styles and educational needs.
In addition to my academic studies, I have practical teaching experience working from home with children, teaching Georgian language and mathematics. I have worked with young learners at the primary level, helping them build strong foundations in reading, writing, basic grammar, and numeracy skills. My experience has taught me how to explain complex concepts in a simple and accessible way, maintain students’ motivation, and support steady progress through positive reinforcement and structured practice.
I also have professional experience working with SS.ge, as well as experience as a population descriptor in Georgia, which has strengthened my communication skills, responsibility, and ability to work with people from different backgrounds. These roles have helped me develop strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism—qualities that are essential for effective teaching.
Beyond my academic and professional background, I am actively involved in student leadership and civic engagement. I am a member of the Union Student Parliament of Georgia and a member of the Ilia State University Student Self-Government. Through these roles, I have participated in decision-making processes, teamwork, and student advocacy, which have further developed my leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
What makes my profile stand out is the combination of academic training, real teaching experience with children, and active involvement in educational and social initiatives. As a Georgian language tutor, I aim to create a supportive, structured, and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident and motivated. My goal is not only to teach Georgian but also to help learners understand Georgian culture, communication styles, and everyday usage of the language.
Georgian is a unique language, so it may feel unusual at first. However, with a good teacher and regular practice, students can start speaking basic Georgian quite quickly. The alphabet is different, but it is logical and phonetic. Is it difficult to learn Georgian?
Some parts, like verb forms, can be challenging. But difficulty depends on:
your native language
how often you practice
the learning method
With structured lessons, Georgian becomes manageable and enjoyable.
What is the easiest way to learn Georgian?
The easiest way is:
learning with a native tutor
focusing on speaking and listening first
practicing a little every day
learning grammar in context, not alone
Personal lessons help you avoid confusion and progress faster
This depends on your goals:
Basic conversation: 2–3 months
Everyday communication: 6–9 months
Advanced level: 1–2 years
Consistency is more important than speed.
