Ready to feel confident in French? 🇫🇷✨

Private French Tutor in Toronto and Online

I’m a native French speaker from France and I’ve been living in Toronto for almost 10 years. I’m TEF certified (since 2017) and I’ve helped French Immersion and Core French students (Grades 1–9) as well as young professionals who want to feel more confident speaking French.

Whether you need support with conversation practice, pronunciation, grammar, or expanding vocabulary, I’ll meet you exactly where you’re at. I’m outgoing, patient, and I create a casual, safe learning space where you can try, make mistakes, and improve without pressure.

I’m also a photographer, and I bring that creative mindset into my teaching. I love using visuals, real-life scenarios, and storytelling to make concepts click faster — so learning feels more engaging, memorable, and less like homework.

My goal is simple: give you a great learning experience — with structure, encouragement, and an empathetic approach — so your French starts feeling more natural, week after week.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the easiest way to learn French in Toronto?

The easiest way to learn French in Toronto is to mix steady practice with real-life connection. Be patient with yourself, keep it consistent and put French into your routine in small, low-pressure ways.

Is it difficult to learn French in Toronto?

No, learning French in Toronto doesn’t have to be difficult, especially because you’re not doing it in a “French-free” city. There are many francophones and bilingual communities here, which means you can actually practice beyond textbooks. What can feel challenging is if you only study French on your own and never use it in real life. But once you start spending time around French speakers, through conversation meetups, community events, classes, or even a weekly chat, French becomes more natural, faster. The key is creating regular moments where French is part of your routine, not just something you “learn.”
