I am a French teacher and the director of Le Jardin français, a French language school in Tokyo. I have extensive experience teaching French to children, teenagers, and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My teaching approach is based on communication, interaction and practical use of the language rather than simple memorization. Over the years, I have taught students with very different learning profiles and adapted my lessons to their age, level, personality and individual objectives. With children and teenagers, I particularly enjoy using games, challenges, role-plays and creative activities to make French engaging and memorable. With adults, I focus on building confidence, developing conversational skills and helping students use French naturally in real-life situations. As a school director, I also work with other French teachers and help develop courses and activities for learners of different ages and levels. I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable, and my goal is always to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable participating, making mistakes, and progressing.
