Bonjour! I'm a French student currently in Sydney for a semester studying at UTS. I have experience in teaching and tutoring French to young children. Indeed, as an au pair in Canada for a year and a half, I taught French to three children from 7 to 12. I can also help adults with conversational French, pronunciation, spelling, and grammar all the while introducing them to French idioms. I like to teach the language to my students using elements of French culture (songs, films, art, gastronomy, landscapes) to make it easier and fun! We can envisage learning French all the while learning to make crepes! I live in Dulwich Hill (Inner West Sydney) and can happily travel around Sydney. À bientôt!
French can be easy to learn if you stay consistent and immerse yourself in the language (try to listen or watch French-speaking as much as you can). Once you learn the basis to communicate, you can have fun improving your vocabulary, etc. Some words are similar to English which can make it easier too.
You will hear many French people in Sydney, yet many of them are traveling on a working holiday visa. That's why I'm here to help you improve!
