I am a native speaker, experienced with secondary kids in a private school, and private tutoring.

My approach revolves around teaching the transparent words first, a few verbs, and making sentences fast. Speak as early as possible in your learning journey.

I have experience with IGCSE, A Levels, IB, DELF and TEF preparation. This is my only job, not a side gig, and I have over 15 students currently.

Fees: 50 online, 85 in person. They include access to a vocabulary app of your choice, all the material I've ever created for classes, and other goodies.

Is it difficult to learn French in Singapore?

The tricky thing is you do not have many opportunities to meet with French people or travel to France. That is why I host a conversation group class online every week. For students 12 to 16 year old, I host a conversation class in person every 6 weeks.

Mr Guillaume Caillaud is an extremely helpful teacher for my son’s IB ab French. Due to the nature of the 2 year course being an extremely fast paced course where grammar and exam skills take precedence over small vocabulary in class, Mr Caillaud’s unconventional teaching method based around immersion into vocab and basic French stories allows my son to ensure that the basics are covered. Furthermore, continuing to assist in individual verb conjugations strongly assists in my son’s knowledge of the present tense as well as broadening his writing skills. Furthermore, his conversation lessons help enhance my son’s capability with the language that is beyond the classroom and would be more practical after IB.
