Private French Tutor in Singapore and Online
I was born in Strasbourg and I grew up in Paris. I graduated from Sorbonne University with a PHD in Education and Masters in French and civilization. I worked in Singapore, Brunei and Australia. I live in Singapore since 2015. I am married and live in Serangoon. I work full-time in an international school and give private tuition when I am free. If you want to learn for fun or to travel or even to be able to speak to your family in law, I can help you with conversation, accent and slang, whether you are an absolute beginner or a slow learner.
A typical session would cover the 4 skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. I send a copy of the lesson every session, containing the PowerPoint colorful and animated presentation, a set of homework and exam papers when applicable.
The sessions are smooth and pleasant! We can use Zoom or Google Meet. Duration is 1h or 1h30. We can mutually agree on a time slot whether mornings or evenings during weekdays or on weekends.
Frequently Asked Questions
How easy is it to learn French in Singapore?
It is doable with 2h per week lessons and some fun homework. Listening to French songs and watching Netflix in French can definitely help.
Is it difficult to learn French in Singapore?
Not at all. If the teacher is fun and kind, anyone can learn enough in a couple of months to survive any situation in a French speaking environment.
