Bonjour! I’m Caroline, a French teacher with 10 years of professional teaching experience, offering both face-to-face and online lessons.
I’m trained in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) as well as literacy teaching, and I’ve worked with a very diverse range of learners, including children, teenagers, diplomats, opera singers, athletes and adults from many different backgrounds.
My approach is practical, concrete and fully personalised. I believe French should help you feel more confident and independent in real-life situations, not just help you complete grammar exercises!

The key is to practise regularly and, above all, to speak. Having conversations in French with native speakers is one of the most effective ways to build confidence and improve naturally.
Listening to French music, watching films or series in French and then discussing them is also a great way to learn vocabulary, pronunciation and expressions in context.
The more opportunities you have to exchange and communicate verbally, the better. Activities that don’t involve speaking and interacting can be useful, but on their own, they tend to be much less effective.
