Toward French Mastery: beginner to advance level

Hello there and warm welcome to you!

But what if I told you that everyone can learn a language! We just need to find the method that suits you best.
Let me introduce you to my teaching world.

Who I am
Initially I finished my baccalaureate in Literature (2001) but since then life brought me a bit everywhere between highs and lows. I volunteered for various populations (4 years), and graduated in BSSW (2019) in Quezon City.

Ya, I am Swiss, but I called myself a wanderer who eventually fell in love with the Philippines. Now I am on my way to master Tagalog. It's not easy, but it’s worth it. Apart from being a French teacher, I am also an artist: I paint, sculpt, craft, play music, sing and dance mostly for the joy of creating beauty.

Also, I love trying new things, exploring, connecting with people and ideas.


Me as teacher
I am a chilled and easy-going teacher, a creative one too, who has been teaching French online for more than 3 years (130 students/+20 nationalities).

I make sure you enjoy every bite of the time spent with me. And yet I help you improve and reach your goals through engaging activities, interesting conversations and suitable exercises. I don't care if you do little mistakes, as long as you enjoy learning and keep learning! Therefore, I focus on nourishing your motivation and self-confidence.

Have no worries, I won't belittle you or make you feel like you are back to school… This class is yours, and we are partners in this adventure!

My lessons and teaching style
Because I believe all students are unique and have specific needs, goals and learnings strategies, my teaching style stands somewhere between an intuitive approach and a student-centered method.

With me, you will learn a practical and useful French updated with common expressions, useful grammar tips, etc. You will acquire speaking and understanding skills (and more…) naturally and without forcing.

Conversation is at the core of every lesson, and around it, we add various activities and exercise to help you. We do grammar when you need or want it.

Together we create the class that suits you best.
No boring or stressful tasks. I will make sure to keep you engaged and motivated.


My philosophy:
No one learns well under stress, and I know this from experience. So, I do everything to offer you a safe environment, without pressure or boredom. Motivation is a key element, and therefore I keep you engaged. You shall learn naturally and without forcing.
