Private French Tutor in Kuala Lumpur and Online

Native French Teacher with Extensive Teaching Experience

Hello! I’m Valentin, a native French speaker with experience teaching French to children, teenagers and adults.

I currently teach French and Mathematics to students from the French Lycée in Kuala Lumpur, and I also have experience working with teenagers through design and educational programs.

My approach is friendly, patient and adapted to each student’s level and learning style. I believe that learning a language should be practical, engaging and enjoyable. I can help students improve their speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and confidence in French.

I also have a background in Biology and Science, so I can provide support in Mathematics and Biology when needed.

Whether you are a beginner, preparing for an exam, or simply looking to become more confident speaking French, I would be happy to help!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the easiest way to learn French in Kuala Lumpur?

In my opinion, one of the easiest ways to learn French in Kuala Lumpur is to combine a few private lessons with regular opportunities to practise in real-life situations.

Taking a few hours of private lessons with a teacher is a great way to quickly build the basics, understand the fundamentals of French and gain confidence.

Then, put your French into practice! The Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur organises many events for French speakers and Francophiles, including cultural events, film screenings and speed-chatting sessions. These are great opportunities to meet people, practise speaking French and discover French-speaking culture in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

The combination of structured lessons and real-life practice is, in my opinion, the fastest and most enjoyable way to make progress.

Is French easy to learn?

No, French is not necessarily an easy language to learn! But it is a lot of fun.

French has many homonyms and is a language full of wordplay, funny expressions and little linguistic surprises. I believe this is actually one of the best ways to learn it.

Learning French shouldn't be just about studying grammar rules. If you only focus on grammar, it can quickly become tedious. Playing with the language, making jokes, discovering expressions and using French in real conversations makes the learning process much more enjoyable — and, in my experience, much more effective.
