I do believe that the best way to teach French is to go through the culture, art, and music. Learning French is a real challenge because of the difficulty of grammar but grammar can be rigorous and fun at the same time. I have a French master's degree in Education. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to teach Sciences, mathematics, and French literature in middle school and high school but also art and music in middle school in 7 international schools (France, USA, Colombia, Thailande, Dominican Republic, Laos, Hong Kong)
I would be happy to share my love of my mother tongue with you in order to make you an asset to everyone traveling with you to France!

It is always more difficult to learn a language out of its country but not impossible if you can find native french teachers. They will be able to give you the culture aspect of the language and its accent which is essential.
How much time does it take to learn French in Hong Kong?
It always depends of a lot of factors. Answering the question about how long it takes to learn a language is never easy. It depends of your background, your motivation, your capacity to hear and recognize the syllables and also of course it will depend of the bond you will create with your teacher. If everything is reunited it could be quick, I may say 6 months to one year to be able to have basics conversation and to enjoy the french supermarkets in small villages in south of France and restaurants in the middle of Paris.
