Is French easy to learn?

Not specially, but I make sure my classes are fun, nice and interesting, so my students love it and are really motivated to learn french and improve quite quickly!
Practice is the most important, speaking with people conversations. Besides this, watching movies in french, listening to french songs, reading articles you like are great ways to improve your level.

How much time does it take to learn French in Hong Kong?

Depends of everyone and the frequency of the classes, but i would say few months to communicate well if the person is motivated and consistent.
