I have been teaching French as a foreign language since 2014 (as an assistant and online teacher until 2016, and as a teacher onwards) to students of all ages both in large and small groups as well as in 1-to-1 classes. Since obtaining my master’s degree in teaching French as a foreign language in 2016, I have taught French to adults in a language school in France and an online school in Switzerland in a more adapted manner to the needs of each student, including terminology in fields of medicine, politics, marketing, and law. In addition to teaching in class, I have also taught online via Skype for students of all ages from many countries between 2015 and 2019, which enabled me to reach out to a broader range of students and pushed me to discover new tools and approaches to technology for language teaching. In September 2019, I started a PGCE and I worked as a French trainee teacher in two different schools in Cambridge. , I am a certified examiner for the examinations of DELF/DALF which are organized and recognized by the French government. In German high schools and in the language school in Strasbourg, I have conducted classes for preparation for these examinations for those who requested it and I believe this greatly helped the students who have been very invested in learning French. , I consider learning and teaching languages not only as a profession but also as a personal passion. For me, it is a great way to learn about different cultures and transfer this information to others. While I have been teaching French to many people from all around the world, I have also been learning German and English from others, and more recently I have also started learning Italian and Turkish. I consider that not only this helps me better understand the connections between different languages, but it also positively reflects on my interactions with my students because I find that this passion spreads to them as well.
