I am a French native teacher from Paris. Experienced in personalized one on one teaching but also in DELF, TEF or IB exam preparation. I worked for schools and alliance francaise. I finally developed my own methodology based on the language structure. Learning the structure of sentences and how to tackle the language is key to build a strong base and develop a deep grammar and conjugation understanding. Indeed, each language works in its own way and unlocking this aspect is very helpful. Pronunciation and mastering phonics is an important component as well that is taught form the first lesson (it's a great help to develop confidence in speaking). Julie is very qualified, has the ability to quickly adapt to a child and customise an effective approach to learning French. My 3 year old daughter is not great with strangers but Julie was able to quickly create a rapport and make the lessons both fun and educative. We were surprised with how quickly our daughter got into the French language and started communicating. It was definitely a great decision and choice.

Julie is by far the best language instructor that I have had. I have experienced various French teachers and Julie teaches in the most structured and logical way, allowing for fast acquisition. In fact, in 3 weeks I went from an IBDP grade 3 to a 5 which is a significant jump, with aims for a 6 or 7. She is extremely good at tailoring the lessons to one’s needs, while covering the required content (in this case for IB) which has benefited me immensely. Additionally to this, her lessons are well paced and she is overall very kind and wonderful to talk to, and so lessons are never awkward or feel tiring, as they have with with other tutors and teachers that I have had. Her understanding of French grammar is clearly very good, as well as her understanding of English grammar. As a result of her eloquence in both languages, she always clearly explains concepts which may otherwise be difficult for teachers to explain to their students. My pronunciation and grammar have improved significantly as well as my comprehension in the short time I have been utilizing Julie’s tutorage, and therefore she is by far the best tutor that I have had. Julie is the best teacher I have ever had. Very professional and responsible with amazing eagerness to teach. She honestly sees it as a life mission not just as a profession. She has amazing methodology of teaching- it is not just learning grammar and vocabulary by hard. She wants the person to understand the structure of the language which makes it much easier later on!

Is a real Parisienne, with charming real french mother tongue. Extremely hi-professional with prefect skills in communication with kids. My kids adore her. Even from the first sessions my 3 y.o. started to repeat some french words and now he understands and is trying to keep a conversation. Is our pleasure to work with Ms Julie . She gives very useful feedback to parents. And her approach to keep the young kids attention for 1 hour language session is adorable. Very enthusiastic in any kind of activities and interactions with kids. Our family will keep on this collaboration as our aim is to give an access to our youngsters to all the beauty of French language with native speaker.
Julie is an incredible teacher! I have always had an affinity towards learning French but always felt like I couldn't do it at 30. Julie has made it possible for me to understand the language and apply the basics in just one month. Her teaching style is extremely patient and she ensures that her students are comfortable and understand what is being taught.
