I am Alban Granier, a 22 year old french engineering student. I arrived on the 15th of February in Brisbane to follow a Master's degree in Engineering Science at the University of Queensland. I come from Bordeaux, a city in the south-west of France, quite close to the Atlantic Ocean, and I studied for the last two years near Paris. I am very happy to stay in Brisbane until November, and I love teaching subjects. For example, I have been teaching mathematics and physics for the last three years. As I am from France, I found it a great opportunity to teach French in Australia, and I want to do it in a pleasant way. I can work on the most useful phrases and expressions to live in France, as well as showing French culture, or work more precisely on vocabulary and grammar.
I hope to teach you French soon!
Alban
I think the easiest way to learn French in Brisbane is in focusing on the phrases and expressions that are used every day in France. We could then have discussions together to improve your ability to speak French.
With a few hours a week for a semester, I think you should be able to read, write and say everyday sentences, which is a good start to communicate easily in French.
