Bonjour! My name is Constance.
With a bachelor's in applied modern languages, I am very passionate about language learning and teaching my native tongue, french! I have been teaching French for 6 years online and offline to people of various ages. I am familiar with the DELF A1-B2 examinations and the different schoolbooks in Hong Kong but I also teach casually in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
I like to adapt my lessons according to the levels and goals of my students. I work with beginners to the B2 intermediate level. My main goal is for you to come out of my lessons feeling more confident in the language.
For the trial lesson:
- I will first send you a Google docs document. This document is for you to have access to the lesson plans before the lesson and for you to add your own notes.
- In the first few minutes, I usually ask for you to present yourself and what you expect out of our lessons.
- I like to start with some simple exercises to see how you feel about grammar, reading, listening, and speaking.
If you want to focus on speaking only we will do various speaking exercises for you to be more confident in the language. If you want to practice for the DELF A1 to B2 exams or any examinations in your school/university we will work on whichever section you feel needs the most work. If you are here to have fun, you're welcome to join and have relaxing lessons on any theme or subject that sparks your interest!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is French easy to learn?
French can be hard just as much as it can be difficult. Every language you learn or another person has learned is a different experience. You may be very good at it and learn the basics to speak on the street in 6 months to a year but some other person may take 10 years. With dedication and time, you can only advance and grow your vocabulary, with a tutor or not.
Is it difficult to learn French in Athens?
Depends, with the courage to take yourself out there to find people to speak it with it can be a challenge. The main problem when you start learning a language is finding the confidence to speak and a person who is willing to listen and to take their time with you for corrections and errors. The important thing is to remember that you can only make mistakes if you try. So let yourself make them!
