Teaching Natural Filipino Communication Skills

(ONLINE LESSONS) I've been working online as an ESL (English as a Second Language) for Chinese students for five years. I basically teach and practice students how to speak naturally in English. I teach them how to use proper grammar forms, English expressions, phrases, and formal language that they could use at work. I provide different topics that we could discuss to practice my students expressing their thoughts in English. I also teach them standard American English pronunciation and this is also the way I'll teach my native language. I can also share my country's culture and this will help students how to think and speak like a native Filipino speaker when they communicate using our language. The Filipino language is not hard to learn if you discover the culture behind it. It would take half a year or less depending on how much time the student gives to learning and practicing. For the pronunciation part, the Filipino language has a big similarity to how you pronounce Maori words.
