Hello! My name is Juan, I am currently an undergraduate student at a university studying language courses such as Spanish, and French. I come from a city in the Philippines called Bacolod City province of Negros Occidental. My mother tongue is Ilonggo but also learned the Tagalog language at a very young age and it is part of the curriculum of the schools I went to back home. I moved to Canada 8 years ago and finished my high school diploma at South Delta Secondary. I am a lover of languages so if you enjoy learning a new language, especially the Filipino language, I’m the person you go to! I have peer tutored in university and also back in high school and would always love to share my knowledge with everyone. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Is it difficult to learn Filipino in Vancouver?
In some cases, it is a difficult language to learn because of the grammar but if you have a little knowledge of Spanish it might help a little because some of the words in Tagalog are derived from the Spanish language
How much time does it take to learn Filipino in Vancouver?
Learning the basics would probably take 2-3 months. To be fluent in all aspects like writing and speaking, it can take as little as 1 year or 2 years max
