My name is Katrina. My family and friends call me Kat. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I'm living with my parents and siblings in Manila for more than 3 decades. My first language is Filipino. Learning the language is easy when you commit yourself to learning at least one new Filipino word every day and using it in a sentence. But it's much easier when you have someone to converse with within Filipino everyday. Just don't pressure yourself too much, take it one day at a time and enjoy learning Filipino!
