Hello! My name is Svetlana, nice to meet you!
I´ve been studying and then teaching English for overall about 12 years. And I can surely say that languages are my passion! On top of that, I have a Bachelor of Linguistics, more specifically, in the program of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication that I've studied for 4 years at the Higher School of Economics University in Russia. By this moment, I´ve had experience teaching both adults (up to 40 years old) and younger students (from 6 to 14 years old), privately and in groups.
My main purpose is to help you enjoy the process of language learning, heading towards your goals through a lot of communicative practice and fun!
What is the easiest way to teach English in Yerevan? Of course, through communicative practice based on the theoretical materials that we explore together in class.
How much time does it take to learn English in Yerevan? Well, I think that the speed of language learning and acquisition may vary from one student to another, also taking into consideration that different goals of different students require different time limits to reach them. Also, the amount of time needed for each student in particular is closely linked to their intrinsic and external motivation when it comes to learning a language. So, time to a large extent depends on a student. Some people need just several months, others several years.
But of course, my role as a teacher is to make it more interesting, easier and faster for students to learn the language and further reach full autonomy in this regard.

I am currently living close to the metro station named "Barekamutyun" (or, in English, "Friendship"). I can actually go to any metro station in Yerevan not too far from the centre to have an offline lesson or, more preferably, teach online.
