Hi! I’m Surabhi (Su), a native-level English speaker with global experience. I grew up in India, studied and worked for 8 years in the U.S., and now live in Austria, speaking B1 German. I have spoken English as my first language for most of my life. I’ve taught English in refugee camps in Greece and Palestine, helping students of all levels, and catering to their individual needs. My lessons will be fun, flexible, and completely tailored to your individual needs and levels. Whichever level you are, whether you want to start at A1 or you want to learn more about English literature, I am happy and excited to help.

Is English easy to learn?
Since English and German both have Germanic roots, with little discipline and consistency, a native German speaker can see a huge improvement in their spoken English skills in as little as 3-6 months. It is possible to reach conversational fluency within a year. English is also a language with a vast possibility of exposure. So, with some consistency and practice, learning English can be easy, fun, and rewarding.
Is it difficult to learn English in Vienna?
No. Vienna is the most cosmopolitan city in Austria. With the influx of younger population from around the world, who use English as their primary means of communication, it is now easier than ever to sharpen one's English language skills.

I am open to any area, as essentially I will be travelling to Vienna for classes anyways. I am also completely comfortable with online cases - that might be better since I am based 4 hours away from Vienna - in Klagenfurt. I'll also be available in areas and cities closer to Klagenfurt for physical classes. For cities like Vienna, I could do some sessions online and some in-person.
