I am an English and content language teacher with an MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL. I have 16 years of tutoring experience and can tailor my teaching to suit your needs. My teaching style stems from the communicative approach in the sense that my students focus on the communicative purposes of the grammar, vocabulary, and tone of English, and I am very attentive to my students' motivation and confidence. Depending on your needs, we can focus heavily on one or two of the four skills, reading, listening, writing, and speaking, or work on all of these skills in a balanced manner. I especially have skills for teaching academic reading, writing, and discussion, including essay writing. If you need extra help with English for particular subjects, such as history, health and social sciences, business, commerce, and so on, I am skilled at supporting you with this.
