Hi! I'm Lena. I teach English to adults who are tired of studying for years without actually being able to speak.

The most common problem I hear from my students is that after months or years of studying there is still no structure and it is difficult to actually use the language. If that sounds like you, then working with me will definitely be a good choice!

Why else should you work with me?

1️⃣ I build the program around you and help you structure your knowledge

I don’t pick topics at random or just follow a textbook. My approach is: (1) understand the student, (2) build a clear structure of the language in their mind, (3) teach the student how to apply it in real life.

Additionally, I have a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification.

2️⃣ Real goals, no “speak from day one” promises

I don’t make false promises. Speaking from the very first lesson is just not possible. Speaking is the most important skill, but also the hardest. We will come to this gradually: short phrases → ready-made sentences → more complex expressions. That way, you’ll build fluency and confidence step by step.

3️⃣ An informal teaching style

No formality, we talk openly and comfortably. Sometimes we joke around or just chat, other times we work super focused and fast — it all depends on what you need.

I also look for materials and examples that match your interests. Sure, we’ll cover general topics too, but it matters to me that you actually enjoy learning the language. Without motivation, you won’t get far.

4️⃣ I speak English every day, including in business settings

My English isn’t only from a textbook. I know both the grammatically correct way and the way people actually speak in real life.

I have over 7 years of experience in recruitment, HR consulting, and career coaching. So if you need English for job interviews, writing a CV, or communicating with international colleagues — I can help with these tasks.

レッスン中はできるだけ英語で話します。英語は使うほど自然に身についていきます。

レッスンは英語で進めるので、ある程度英語で話せる方（A2〜B2レベル）を対象にしています。難しいときは、もっと簡単で短い言い方に変えます。文法の説明は、プレゼンテーションの中で日本語でも確認できるようにしています。
