Rich-tutor

The following are the bullet points of my transition into(and experience) with respect to teaching:

--Born and raised in the USA--played sports(soccer competitively)--and graduated as an engineer

--after working in my field for a few years I merged into sales and later moved to W. Africa (for business that did not go very well:)

--In W. Africa I was invited to help teach and tutor math, science, technology and English p/t (for about 2 years)
--mainly middle school levels through high school--classroom style (12-25 students)

--moved to Costa Rica and soon found a similar demand there as well --I did not like Costa Rica much and only stayed for 1 yr
--tutoring and sub-teaching English, math, science(classroom) at the Country Day School in the capital city--

--after some research, I decided there were more opportunities in Asia--moved to the Philippines where I found a demand for teaching online English
--about 6 years with Koreans and about 2 years with Chinese f/t

--a friend convinced me to move to Taipei(from Manila) about 3 months ago and I currently continue to teach Chinese students online p/t
--so far, Taipei has been a very pleasant surprise:)

--I have worked with young learners up through adults---the older the students are, usually the better:)

--note: I also played varsity soccer on scholarship for 2 years(and was a certified referee in the USA) and still keep a focus on fitness and health--If you might need assistance with those departments as well, it would be worth discussing

--note: I minored in math, so that is another subject that maybe I could offer some assistance with
