I have a BA with Honours from Macquarie University and have been tutoring since 2000 when I finished my Honours degree. My love for literature and the fact that I write, also help me in being able to tutor at high school and university levels. I specialize in high school tutoring in English and history, particularly HSC advanced and extension as well as university level at all levels. I also help migrants improve their English language skills. Having studied languages as part of my degree I have particular expertise in English grammar which, coupled with the fact that I came to Australia in 1985 and had to learn English from scratch, gives me a great advantage in being able to teach English as a second language. I know just how it feels and what is needed! I also have a Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
