Hello, I’m Paul and I’ve been an English teacher for almost 10 years. I have helped hundreds of students, young and old, improve their English skills, whether it be grammar, punctuation, comprehension or writing. I have many qualifications, including CELTA, DELTA, TESOL and TEYL as well as a degree in English language and literature. I have Received Pronunciation, making conversations with me easy and clear. I am familiar with a myriad of teaching materials due to working in many different establishments in Singapore.

How easy is it to learn English in Singapore?
English is all around you. If you can take yourself out of your comfort zone, you will find that English is used in almost all parts of Singapore. Take notes of what people say, listen to the phrases they say and look them up, practice as much as you can in english. If you can’t find anyone to practice with, well, that’s where I come in!
Is it difficult to learn English in Singapore?
People often give up way too soon when it comes to English. It’s not like following an IKEA assembly guide. It can’t be done in a short amount of time. It can be daunting at first, but if you are patient and take small steps each time, you will find English a more enjoyable experience.
