I have worked as a teacher for over 8 years and during this time I have gained a myriad of experience. Most recently I have been working as a part-time humanities teacher for grades 7 to 10, as well as IGCSE Business Studies grades 10-11. Concurrently I have been teaching international relations, history, and psychology for university entrants and masters applicants online for the last two years.
I am committed and passionate about teaching and I have worked hard to be an engaging and competent teacher. I am proficient in different teaching methodologies such as how to promote active, inquiry-based learning, a growth mindset, and much more. All of which underpins my teaching practice as I seek to enable creative and critical thinking.
Before moving from England I worked as a social worker for 10 years and previously as a psychotherapist. I am a very friendly person with excellent communication skills, who works extremely well with others, specifically, I can work effectively across different cultures in an inclusive and respectful manner.
