American native English speaker familiar with Senegal

I have 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring adults and youth on a range of topics, including:

- English Conversation and Writing (ages 9-65)
- Dance (ages 7-70)
- Political Science/International Relations (college)
- Service Learning (ages 10-14)
- Teacher Training/Training of Trainers (adults)

In addition, I have a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Washington as well as a B.A. in Political Science and Theatre Arts. With my background in the theatre, I am able to quickly develop scenarios and models that allow the learner to immediately apply the material of focus.

On WyzAnt’s ESL certification exam, I scored 100%. I also have a broad spectrum of experience in other fields, including entrepreneurship, communications, marketing, research, proposals, writing and editing, community engagement, and management of organizations, events, and programs. Thus, I am able to offer valuable suggestions, resources, and strategies for a student’s desired academic or career path.

Having visited Senegal throughout the past two decades, I am familiar with the culture and languages (proficiency in French, basics in Wolof), which enables me to easily communicate with clients in this region and facilitate rapid advancement.
