My name is John, I am Native English. I live in Rome, Italy and I love teaching Italians how to speak English. I teach English at the Language Institute, and I love it! I am a qualified TEFL teacher, and for the moment, I enjoy teaching the 'Direct method'. I find teaching the Direct method the best way, as my students get the pronunciations right, and also, I can detect if certain words or speech aren't correct. I will try new methods of teaching at some point.
I understand that learning a new language is never easy, but I will be very respectful to my Student/ students and I will be very patient, and correct them on their mistakes. I always ask my students to tell me, when they don't understand something or need assistance. I'm an approachable teacher, and I'm here to help.

Some People find it hard to learn English in Italy, but I try my best to help my students with everything that I can provide.
What is the easiest way to learn English in Rome?
The best way, I find is to be patient with the students, and help them more with their Vocabulary, or Spelling skills. Sometimes, when I work in the school, I might ask my student to write me a letter about something, just so I can check on their spelling and pronucitiations. I like to be creative, and make the lesson fun and exciting.
