Mi chiamo Lena e sono una studentessa della Yale University negli Stati Uniti e cerco di aiutare le persone con l'inglese durante la mia estate a Roma. Ho esperienza di lavoro con i giovani ma sono aperta anche a lavorare con gli adulti. A Yale studio economia, storia e italiano. Sono cresciuta a Boston ma ho anche vissuto per due anni in un collegio vicino a Trieste, quindi capisco le abitudini e la cultura italiana. Durante questo periodo ho fatto volontariato insegnando inglese a persone della mia età (adolescenti). Ho anche aiutato alcuni miei compagni non madrelingua a migliorare il loro inglese e ad avere successo nel programma International Baccalaureate della nostra scuola.
My name is Lena and I am a student at Yale University in the USA and I try to help people with English during my summer in Rome. I have experience working with young people but I am also open to working with adults. At Yale I study economics, history and Italian. I grew up in Boston but also lived for two years in a boarding school near Trieste, so I understand Italian habits and culture. During this time I volunteered teaching English to people my age (teenagers). I have also helped some of my fellow non-native speakers improve their English and succeed in our school's International Baccalaureate program.
