I'm Sara, an engaging Native English language instructor from Chicago, IL, USA.
I am TEFL certified with over 15 years of professional work experience in the USA in industries such as finance, insurance, philanthropy, and university education, and relate well to business professionals.
I have taught English for 4 years and I specialize in teaching adults, especially those seeking to improve their business English, or who want to take their conversational skills to the next level.
I can adapt any lesson or situation according to the students' needs, and love creating lessons based on what students are interested in.
English can be challenging to learn, but with dedication and a commitment to weekly lessons, learning can be easy and fun!
My lessons are a mix of learning grammar, practicing speaking, reading, listening, and writing, and using fun real-world materials like current events, movies or music.
I currently have limited availability to take on a few new students. I am open to flexible schedules, and a hybrid of online and in-person lessons. At the moment I am only accepting adult students. I look forward to meeting you!
