I am a university-qualified and experienced English teacher. I grew up in Zimbabwe and South Africa, have also lived in Tanzania and South Korea, and currently, my husband and I live in a small town outside of Prague in the Czech Republic. Our two sons have grown up already and live in other European countries. During my life, I have taught very young children, teenagers, and adults of all ages in all the countries where I have lived. These days, I teach some Korean and Czech women in-person at their homes or mine, and I also offer online English lessons to individuals from around the world. My latest focus is on teaching small groups of intermediate-level adults. We have fun discussions based on short stories (from my book of stories - I'm an author) and other interesting articles, or on short videos such as TED talks. We also focus on language - grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and so on, with a view to better understanding and speaking. Students have different needs, so I am FLEXIBLE and tailor the lessons to their individual needs.
