I am a professional teacher with deep English skills, TEFL certified, and five years of experience. I have a little bit of knowledge about a lot of things, particularly music, business, engineering, and world events, so we use flexible (and fun) conversations to discover and strategically practice meaningful vocabulary and relevant grammar. I have many resources to draw upon. I usually focus on vocabulary and good pronunciation, the keys to helping advanced students boost their skills and build confidence.

Is English easy to learn?
English is no more difficult to learn than any other language. What makes it easy is that there is so much material available and so many opportunities to practice. It´s worth the investment to learn good pronunciation early in the process, because one of the challenges with English is that the spelling of words doesn´t always match the sound.
How much time does it take to learn English in Panama City?
Learning English is a life-long journey. To be able to make simple conversation (A2) usually takes three months at least. I work mostly with students who are already at a B2, and it can easily be a year before they reach C1. For me, moving from B2 to C1 in Spanish has taken about two years. But it´s not all work... It´s fun and rewarding all along the journey!
