I am Canadian,
I am currently working in IT and have a college diploma in a three-year Information Systems course. I also have a Community Service Worker diploma and worked in the field, where I taught French and Cree language students how to speak and write in English.
I have a sound knowledge of computers and language-learning software. I have taught many students computer software skills.
I live in Ottawa and drive so I can get anywhere in the city.
I have lots of experience training others in various things such as resume writing skills, computers, learning English, and new hires to my team at work.
In my previous teaching English experience, I feel my students were able to pick it up easily with examples of how you say a sentence versus how you would write it. Writing their own sentence and then practicing reading them as it was written by them - really helped! How long it takes, depends on each student.
The easiest way to learn it is a combination of listening to how it sounds, repeating it, then writing it down, then applying that to English learning software.

If you use English both at work and at home, it may take up to 4 months to speak English. Writing in English takes a bit longer with learning the grammar rules. Really depends on each student.
