I am fluent in English and a holder of a TEFL certification.
I also teach children with learning disabilities and teens and adults. I have studied in English schools and have also studied English and English literature at A'level. I believe that the way forward with students is to actually demonstrate their capabilities to them and give them positive strokes when they achieve progress, however small. Learning is a gradual process and through various tasks, the student who enjoys the lesson will be able to speak and write English in a matter of months.
